Waltham Forest High Streets

A programme of high street and town centre regeneration across Waltham Forest, including Leyton Town Centre, Bakers Arms, North Chingford and Francis Road. The work recognised high streets not simply as retail destinations, but as places where local identity, community life and economic activity come together.

I led the procurement and management of design teams, working with local stakeholders to deliver coordinated improvements to shopfronts, public realm and highways. The programme helped unlock further public and private investment, support new businesses and encourage greater street activity, with Francis Road subsequently becoming a particularly successful example of pedestrian-focused neighbourhood regeneration.
